How does it work ?

Initial start up - Add Ice and enough water aprox 1/2 gal of water to cycle pump to get things chilling down for relief from the heat .

This unit works efficiently by blowing ambient air across a heat exchanger cycled with ice water,for over 20 degree drop in temp from inlet to outlet Air temps

The cool air is blown through the cooling unit out the exhaust hose into the area needed providing a comfortable cool air temperature , you can stay comfortable even in the hot summer temps .

Humid Air is forced through the cooling exchanger so any condensation from the Humidity remains in the cooler working as a dehumidifier.

This unit is self contained and operates with 12 volts from a cigarette lighter adaptor.

If needed a female adaptor with alligator clips for hooking up to a remote battery for camping where there's no power hook up , one can be purchased in our (Shop products pages)

The duct hose is designed to be adjust in any direction to get cool air cycled to what ever direction you need .

To empty the unit , Pump out is easy , simply take the return hose while unit is on and direct flow out of the unit till empty .

This unit use's a high end automotive style blower fan with 300 Cfm capacity to cycle and exchange air quickly, along with a automotive cooling exchanger , to chill the air from the pumped ice water through the exchanger for over 20 degree drop in temp from inlet air to outlet air .

We have found using frozen bottles of water with necks cut off to create your own ice logs is a great way to save money over buying store bought bags of ice this has increased longevity of cooling capacity when using solid blocks of ice over small ice cubes.
